Inpatient physiotherapy

The inpatient physiotherapy and rehabilitation service provides a rehabilitative physiotherapy program within the multi-specialty clinic, which offers personalized assistance tailored to all patient needs.

It takes place during hospitalization where patients are rehabilitated, following rehabilitation and physiotherapy protocols developed by the physiatrist in coordination with other relevant specialists, to progressively regain autonomy in daily life activities.

Physiotherapy sessions are conducted daily, twice a day (once a day on Saturdays and holidays), in the hospital room or in the gym and heated therapeutic pool, depending on the patient’s condition.

INDICATION
  • Post-operative care for highly complex surgical procedures (spinal surgery, prosthetic surgery, ...)
  • Post-traumatic rehabilitation, with or without surgical intervention, to regain greater functional autonomy
  • Post-traumatic care for significant injuries (head trauma, femoral fracture, ...)
  • For patients with neurological disabilities (from stroke, multiple sclerosis, ...) who require continuous assistance and a protected environment during the stabilization phase of their condition
  • For patients with orthopedic disabilities requiring continuous assistance
  • Post-bed rest rehabilitation for patients who need reactivation due to a long period of hospitalization
  • Extended post-bed rest care for elderly patients who have lost autonomy and mobility due to a long period of immobility or limited activity
  • Extended post-bed rest care for elderly patients who have lost autonomy and mobility due to a long period of hospitalization
  • Daily physiotherapy treatments, twice a day during the week and once a day on weekends and holidays
  • 24-hour medical and nursing care
  • Personalized programs: Individual Care Plan (PAI) developed by a team of specialists including physiatrists, physiotherapists, nurses, and doctors
  • Daily multidisciplinary interventions:
    - orthopedic rehabilitation with manual techniques, instrumental physical techniques using machinery, therapeutic exercise;
    - respiratory rehabilitation;
    - cognitive rehabilitation;
    - neurological rehabilitation.
