Dr. Francesco Liuzza graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2001 and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology with top marks in 2006 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, Agostino Gemelli University Hospital. He continued his training at Wishaw General Hospital and Hyrmires Hospital in Glasgow (Scotland), where he acquired advanced skills in knee prosthetic surgery.
From 2018 to October 2024, he served as a Medical Director at the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital Foundation, combining clinical and surgical activities with teaching assignments at the School of Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology, the Degree Course in Physiotherapy at Gemelli Molise in Campobasso, and sector-specific University Masters. During his years of service at the Gemelli Hospital, he mainly focused on trauma surgery of the pelvis and limbs, primary hip prosthetic surgery, and complex cases of prosthetic revision.
Medical Director at the UOC of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Tor Vergata University Hospital in Rome and Researcher (RTT) at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where he teaches in the degree courses in Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Sciences, Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy, and related degree courses.
He conducts his private practice at Villa Stuart Clinic.
