Dr. Gianluca Merola, after classical studies at Torquato Tasso High School in Salerno, graduated in Medicine and Surgery on July 26, 2010, at Sant’Andrea Hospital, Second Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Sapienza University of Rome, with highest honors and distinction.
In June 2016, he specialized in Nutrition Science at Umberto I Polyclinic, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Sapienza University of Rome, with highest honors and distinction.
He was part of the CASCO team (Center for Advanced Specialization in Obesity Care) at the V Medical Clinic of Umberto I Polyclinic, where he gained significant experience in treating obesity, underweight conditions, and eating disorders, performing over 250 nutritional interventions annually.
From 2016 to 2019, he served as the physician in charge of the nutritional department at San Giorgio Institute, a center for treating eating disorders and obesity.
He participates in numerous national and international conferences, both as an attendee and as a speaker.
