Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from La Sapienza University of Rome in July 1997, with honors (110/110 cum laude). Registered with the Professional Medical Board of Rome since September 1998. In November 2002, he obtained his Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology with honors (50/50 cum laude) from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. In 2006, he was a Fellow at the Shoulder Surgery Orthopedic Unit directed by Prof. A. Castagna at the Humanitas Clinical Institute. Since 2008, he has been a member of the Italian Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (SICSeG) with regular participation in continuing education courses on the subject.
From 2008 to 2012, he served as Chief Medical Officer at the United Hospitals of Anzio and Nettuno, where he mainly focused on shoulder surgery, both arthroscopic and open procedures. Since June 2013, he has been a consultant at the Humanitas Clinical Institute in Milan, in the Shoulder and Elbow Orthopedic Unit directed by Prof. A. Castagna. He served as the physician for the Italian National Baseball Team in 2010 and 2011.
